More about the NDAA / Obama was a constitutional law professor

I just discovered that the Obama administration asked that there be a provision in the law that US citizens on American soil can be indefinitely detained without trial. (Aside: this clip shows Senator Carl Levin. I consider him and Senator McCain scumbags and traitors to our country, as they are the ones behind the NDAA bill). This is while the bill was being crafted.

Wait a minute? Obama said yesterday that he had "reservations" about signing this bill. My big question: if Obama really had reservations, then how come his administration INSISTED that US citizens on American soil can be detained indefinitely without trial? The other obvious question: how come he signed this bill in the first place? Obama, as president, has the power to veto the bill. If Obama vetoed the bill, then he would effectively reject it and let Congress know what he expects. I mean, detaining US citizens on US soil is a big deal. This isn't a minor issue we are talking about here. This is taking our Constitution and stomping all over it.

In 2007 Obama said "I was a constitutional law professor, which means unlike the current president I actually respect the Constitution." Respect the Constitution? B.S., Obama is just as bad if not worse then Bush. We don't need a Obama, we need a president that will respect our civil liberties and has the balls to say no to damaging bills like the NDAA act.
