On this weekend's edition of Faux news...

Definition of "faux":
faux   /fō/
Adjective:
Artificial or imitation: "faux pearls".
Not genuine; fake or false: "her faux New York accent".

There has been a lot of media attention lately not on the results of the GOP conventions over the weekend in AZ and OK - where Ron Paul did very well - but to Mitt Romney's son Josh being "booed" at during a speech he made at the OK state convention.  Faux (Fox) news has also gotten in on reporting Josh Romney being "booed".  Watch this clip:

First of all, Josh was not "booed".  Ron Paul's supporters were displeased by what Josh Romney said but I wouldn't call what they did booing.

But whatever you want to call the reaction to the clip of Josh Romney's speech, the bigger question is what caused this reaction from the Ron Paul supporters?

Listen to what Mitt Romney's son said.  He said, "When my dad realized that he was going to be the next Republican nominee for President..." By saying this, his son is saying that Mitt IS in fact the nominee.  But that's NOT true! The fact is the GOP convention in Tampa has NOT happened and the GOP nominee has not been chosen yet. Until the Republican nominee has been chosen then it false for someone saying or implying that Mitt Romney is the Republican nominee.  As result I think people have a right to be displeased and express their displeasure when they hear these sorts of inaccurate statements.

Later, Fox bring on a "panel" to discuss the video clip, Not ONE of the ladies on the panel mention that what Mitt Romney's son said is NOT true.  Instead they point to the fact that Ron Paul supporters are enthusiastic and that's the nature of Ron Paul supporters.

Now you wonder why I gave the definition of "faux" earlier?
