I just read an article on Yahoo called How Republicans plan to win over the youth vote and here is my reaction.
The GOP grossly miscalculated the public's - including the youth's - interest in the Republican party. The vast majority of Ron Paul supporters would not have given their support to the Republican party in the first place had it not been for Ron Paul. They are not fickle voters but are informed voters...and they know what they want and who is offering it in the Presidential race. Ron Paul brought them to the Republican party and if the GOP insists on pushing him out, it should know that those voters will leave also. They have NO interest in the old GOP but are hungry for political representation. Wake up, GOP!
So, the story on Yahoo is NOT the real story. The fact is there are plenty of supporters of Ron Paul as I described above but the GOP has rejected us not only in 2008 but also in 2012.
