Follow The Money.

This video is definitely an eye-opener.  Don't wait, watch this video now:

As the man in the video points out, $380 MILLION dollars was spent in lobbying, advertising and campaign contributions (back in 2009) to make sure the ACA passed, and such that everyone has to buy insurance from the exchanges the government mandates without a choice of a public option.
Our media did and continues doing a horrible job exposing the fact that lobbyist money bought Congress to pass this healthcare bill, that there are several lobbyists in the healthcare industry for every Congressperson, etc.  Oh wait holdup our media is also owned by corporate interests.
You know how NASCAR drivers must show on their cars who is sponsoring them and paying them? Well, my suggestion is every member of Congress, all the subcommittees, etc wear on their clothing the interest groups that are funding them and their campaigns.
The bottom line is this, and I have said this many times. The free market cannot force you and I to do anything.  The government can force you to do something by creating laws.  Therefore, corporations buy out the government so they can force you and I to do what they want.  This is no different with the ACA bill.  When people talk of the free market we have in America I say to them, what free market do we have left?
